About the Lemmons Family
Hello and Welcome to Life Gave You Lemmons.
We are happy you stopped by and thought we would take this time to introduce ourselves and our little family.
We are Danny and Krista Lemmons, a husband-and-wife crafting team.
Krista was a 1st grade school teacher when she decided to change careers and go back to her roots in crafting. For the next 10+ years she was a professional crafter specializing in scrapbooking, card making, and mixed media arts. There she taught classes, collaborated with many celebrities in the crafting world including Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp, Spellbinders Paper Arts, Ken Oliver, and many others. She also attended Ranger University and became a Ranger U Certified Instructor. She is a COPIC Certified instructor and artist. She appeared on HSN for a manufacturing company for paper crafts, has taught and demonstrated at the crafting world’s largest conventions and more! And the first certified instructor for a paper crafting company, where she taught and certified other paper arts instructors.
It was during a Tim Holtz class that she was a part that we met. We became fast friends and eventually married.
I have been involved in wood working, crafting, and paper arts for a number of years. I have even worked as a paper crafting demonstrator, taught classes, and worked alongside Krista with numerous paper crafting designers. I tend to be more into the mixed media and grungy style of projects. I love creating new designs and concepts in the paper crafting world and helping bring Krista's designs to life.
In 2019 we decided to open our own company, Life Gave You Lemmons. We purchased several new pieces of equipment and started producing items. At first our goal was to bring local and custom items to our town, to help local stores get customized products without large starting quantities, and now we bring items to whatever areas we find a need.
Like any true crafter, I have a love for machines and equipment. Over the years, our collection has grown from wood working tools and machines, to every type of imaginable paper crafting machine, to 3D printers, Embroidery Machines, Laser Engravers, and many others.
It is funny to look back at what started out as a way for us to provide Alien and UFO themed items, has grown over the years to Pageantry, Dance, School, Church, and many other custom and personalized items!
Even after all our growth, we have not forgotten where we started, we still offer custom Scrapbooking and Card making and wood items!
We currently reside in West Texas with our 2 children, our teen son, Aedan, and our tween daughter, Veronica and our 2 fur babies, Munchkin cats - Luna and Sol (who have their own instagram account if you would like to follow them - @luna_and_sol_lemmons).
Our hobbies outside of creating and crafting are spending time with our family taking trips to Disney World (and all things Disney), Harry Potter, Family Game Nights, and Family Movies.
